The Daily Mirror on Wednesday quoted the Agriculture, Wildlife and Forest Conservation Ministry as saying.
A senior official told the daily that there was no such move, which had been reported by an India media outlet.'
The Indian article had said that the Zoological Gardens in Sri Lanka would carry out "captive breeding of a herd of about a dozen specimens over a five-year period before trial reintroduction to the wild could take place".

五 | 受此消息影响，美债收益率应声下跌，黄金维持高位震荡。 华泰期货对黄金持谨慎偏多的看法，认为美联储释放流动性宽松信号，长端美债收益率明显下降，叠加地缘局势出现缓和信号，目前市场风险偏好转暖，对于黄金投资的需求或有增强，因此预计近期黄金价格或以震荡偏强格局为主，黄金期货Au2610合约震荡区间或在950元/克~980元/克。
